This is located right above a great espresso shop and is in what we call, “the gourmet ghetto”. That means, if you like to cook and eat, there are plenty of food and wine shops and great restaurants. The famous “Chez Panisse” is directly across the street There are also bookstores, clothing etc.. This is very near the studio (10 minute walk). The rooms do not have TV’s but are clean and attractive.
Hotel Shattuck Plaza

This is located in downtown Berkeley near shops, movies, restaurants and health clubs. The hotel is a few steps away from a Bart Station. It is very nice and is only a 20 minute walk to the studio.
Hotel Durant

Located in the Student area right near the University, it is near several record stores, great bookstores,and tons of restaurants. Out front you will mingle with a very colorful cast of street characters and lots of students. The hotel is nice, clean and the 20 minute or less walk to the studio will take you through the beautiful UC Berkeley campus.

This is a grand old resort hotel complete with a beautiful pool and large tennis courts as well as a full spa with all the amenities. The view of the whole Bay Area is spectacular. It is about a 10 minute drive to the studio.

This is a business class hotel on the Berkeley Marina with a beautiful view of the San Francisco Bay and Skyline.It has a nice indoor pool. It is about a 15 minute drive to the studio.

From San Francisco
Take the Bay Bridge and go North on I 80 towards Berkeley. Take the University Ave.exit and drive east towards the hills. Go (approx.2 miles) up University Ave, turn left on Shattuck Ave. Drive approx.3/4 of a mile and turn left into the Safeway Community Market parking lot and telephone the studio for further directions.
From Oakland
Take I 880 North and bear right onto I 980 (North). Continue onto Hwy 24 (East).Stay to the right and exit onto Martin Luther King Ave.(0.6 miles).Drive north (approx. 2.7 miles )past University Ave. Continue on Martin Luther King to Cedar (0.6 miles). Turn right and drive east. Just before Shattuck Ave,turn left into the Safeway Community Market parking lot and telephone the studio for further directions.
From San Rafael
Take Hwy 580 across the San Rafael Bridge towards Richmond.Continue east
on 580. Take the Albany exit (which is on the left side of Fwy) and turn left onto Buchanan street following the signs to Albany. This turns into Marin Ave. Go East on Marin for several miles.Turn right onto the Alameda which becomes Martin Luther King. Turn left on Cedar and drive east. Just before Shattuck Ave,turn left into the Safeway Community Market parking lot and telephone the studio for further directions.
From Vallejo
Take Hwy 80 West to Albany exit. Turn left at stop at the end of the ramp. Follow the signs to Albany.Go under the overcrossing onto Buchanan Street, which turns into Marin Ave. Go East on Marin for several miles. Turn right on the Alameda(for at least 3/4 mile), which becomes Martin Luther King Ave. Turn left on Cedar and drive east. Just before Shattuck Ave,turn left into the Safeway Community Market parking lot and telephone the studio for further directions.
